Saw KSU(Jerin)giving a speech...n all...Suddenly I heard a familiar sound...Someone was reciting a poem...that too in Hindi...I ran to the STAGE....I saw Maama...He was silent by then...I was amazed and amused.....amazed coz he was tre...and confused coz I diddn kno y all of a sudden he got silent...He looked at me... The Judges were looking at him...1 minute was over by then...then the thing happened..Maama Said... Sorry Sir .... He went of the stage...Now this is an incident that I cannot 4get as it was only me whu saw the same...No one from my class was tre.... Maam Rockzzzzz

For Engg students...for us...the best place to enjoy other than hostel was...LAB.....Our lab was divided into two batches ..32 and 33 each.... I wsa in the first batch which was again divided into 5......but we had a separate 6th batch...One guy from each batch....who were a headache to the whole batch...Ponna,Araf,Binesh,Jelak,Me n Lolan.......too cool This incident happened in 7th sem..We were supposed to submit the rough record every time before we entered the lab....As usual one Guy came late...This time it was GINTO FRANCIS ......the instructor called him.....asked for rough record....He took a 120 page notebook from his pocket...Teacher glared at him.....It was around 60 pages only...rest contained Rummy scores...hihi She asked..."Ginto, is this the way you come to the lab..U r late..and u bring a 60 page notebook as a Rough record..."...Ginto was trying to give an answer...All of a sudden ....something fell from the rough book.......it was . . . . . A KING OF SPADE ...

2006 World Cup...the whole of the hostellers were completely divided....On gang for Argentina..one for Brazil...one for Spain...and the list goes on and on...I knew nothing abt Football and wanted to be a part of either Brazil or Argentina....well...the so called leaders said I will bring bad luck...i was completely rejected....I decided to make my own GANG... Yes...a gang comprising of 3 members were formed..Me, PUTT and FREE SHOW....for GERMANY...I spent more than an hour or two to study the names of German football players...it was on....the famous name in the hostel corridors was...LUKAS PODOLSKI.....I had my moments wen Brazil was knocked out..and mainly wen Argentina was Knocked out by GERMANY....”WE”(hihi) lost in the semis... Every evening we used to play football in front of hostel...we all had names....like roonWayney(Hasthu)..nishchalrooyi(Odiyan)....Cannavaro(Nambolan)...Messi(Matthi)...Christiano(Aswin)...Kahn(me)..Ronaldinjo(odinjo valnjo...Vallipambu)......Zidane...Lola

There was a guy in our college...he was so black that.....well...leave it...its beyond comparison...His name was KARIYAPPA....We decided to plan something...Decided that finally...We will wear BLACK Shirts and make him wear a WHITE Shirt....He didn’t oppose...In a boys Hostel...actually there is no point in opposing ...hihi.... We went through each and every floor and reached our class....Damn...its the Principal’s class....we r late and black...Humanities and some Management Subject...gng on.....He just stared at us....He asked us to get in....We did the same.. Before leaving he said.....Yes..I know that Management is a dry subject...bu U have to bear with me...Now we were shocked...he actually thought that we were expressing our dislike for the subject...We clarified the thing immediately..... 2 years later...Staff Room....Kariyappa was asked to bring a foto....His project Guide in front of all staff mentioned that Kariyappa is a PAAVAM....his friends mocked him by wearing black dres

We are in the last semester.....As usual I got up at 9 30...yes class started....I went to brush and there was a heated discussion going on in the hostel...Went tre...Oh God..they have found out the variety exercise that we have to do today....yes..its finalized...the remaining people in the hostel r going to attend class, and that too by....WEARING THE PANTS INSIDE OUT or UPSIDE DOWN.... We first decided to go thru each and every floor in a group....All in the same uniform...hihi....Unfortunately there was only a single IT student with us....We accompanied him to the class and left him after giving him a FAREWELL to the class..... Its time for the EEE class....thrilled as it was the first time we were going to attend a COMMUNICATION SESSION( it was tre for long...we never attended)... We decided to go thru the front door....first ones to spot our freaky attempt were the GALS...ya always they do that..Gals r like that..they wont show it .....one gal actually shouted...The teacher didn’

July 21 2006.....I am leaving CAARMEL ENGG Hostel....Even before that day many of them left....I was among the leftovers at that time...Thanks to a Backlog Exam...Sometimes failing also does bring something Good....I reached home....on the way I was rewinding CML....Cant explain that feeling...Any way one thing for sure....I was not that sad...1 week at home...I was not able to sleep....I finally found..wat I am missing...Damn it....No more late nite chats...Card Games...birthday bashes..fun at 12 p.m...cricket... football...volleyball...squash...table tennis(Yes we played those two also with tailor made rules).....Ya I am lost completely.... July 22 2007....I have joined SCMS....New frndz....new room mates...new atmosphere...a strict Warden....I was happy that I have another College life to enjoy...but...this is entirely new...I am now lying down in my bed...alone...In Engg days...there were more than 4 in a bed....all alone....Ya I am missing My ENGG days...

CML ----I was one of them who were in the list of LIFO(Last In First Out) as far as Exam halls were considered.... One day...I think some Electrical exam was going on...I finished early as usual...One of my friends..Jelak just wanted to have a solution for a problem...he asked me.... Now he was in another corner....As usual I wrote on Question Paper and decided to throw the same to him....Waitng for the invigilator to turn back.....Yes I found a spot and threw....Unluckily, he turned at the same time....he asked...Kiran...wre is ur Q.P......... No clue wat to say....I just stood up....he asked the same thrice..I diddn reply...Suddenly...Jelak stoodup....Sir...its with me...even I was stunned.....rest..........hihi...No casualities..actually, we got thru...no complaints wre launched... SCMS ----As usual I was late for the exam...I just went in...took Q.P from the invigilator....it was an HR exam...I saw the QP...last Q was for 20 marks...it was regarding TATA Chorus deal.....I was stunn

One of the biggest head aches in an Engineers' life as a student is a viva voce......Now this does apply not only to students.....No lecturer can forget the answers that some of the students give out...Some of the best from my Batch..... Civil lab.....To save time , the lecturer decided to take viva voce for two students at a time.....She asked one of them...actually she showed a tripod and asked to name a part of the tripod......He said ....looking at the other student..."PASS".... Civil Lab .... this was the best ever....The teacher asked the student....What are the different types of closers?....The answer was ofcourse King closer and the Queen closer....The reply was...." Mam actually this is out of syllabus.....but ok....With the limited knowledge that I have I will try to answer....there are mainly two types of closers(thats wat the teacher heard..unfortunalely)....they are....INDIAN CLOSET and the EUROPEAN CLOSET........... We were the first batch in CML....All sort of sufferings a first bach student had to suffer....we also did....In between lot of fun... 3rd semester...EEE had a subject called Mechanical Engg....with LAB exam....This really gave us an head ache...especially the lab part....We didnt have a lab till I think a week before University exam........Finally everything got ready.... We wen tto the lab...The lecturer told us abt the turbines n stuff.....he showed one massive sturcture and said this is Francis turbine...Showed another one n said ...this is Pelton turbine......Then he pointed to a corner....there was absolutely nothing there....We looked at him ...amused...He said...That is the place where we actualy plan to put a Kaplan Turbine................ We still remeber that incident...We got the record signed from him in front of the External Examiner......So much to remember...Engg rocks... The whole lab was set-up 3 days before the external examination. Our Principal, a very strict man

Another incident in my life........ One day one of my Engg friends on his way bak to hostel from home....brought some fish biriyani.....There were many packets....our gang got one packet each.... I dont remember the exact situation ..but I just took some fish n rice from the guy who brought this item.....he looked at me...he says he actually glared at me(I dont remember either cases)......Actually he diddnt like others havin a share from his plate...that was it...from that day he got used to it... he still remembers that incident(i still cant recollect that I was the one who was responsible for it...)....... Now...this will certainly be among the best moments in an Engg students Hostel life.....Too many hands in a single plate at the same time..... Engg life Simply rocks ...........

One incident n my life....... PGDM days...1st trimester Exams on the cards....One subject called Management Accounting...Diddnt kno a thing wat its all about.....Next day exam...pressure...tension...... Decided to call an Engg Friend..... Explained the situation to him....He laughed and asked a simple Q.......How many exams did u rite in ENGG period...I calculated...roughly 198.....I replied...he said...You were not at all tensed then....and now u r afraid of a single paper......hihi... that was it...I got the motivation that I needed...I never turned bak...Exams came and went after that...I was too cool...I kept this thing in mind.... Its easy to learn a 1500 page book in 1-2 hours.... Proud to be an ENGINEER ....
